The Weekend Warm-up Hike returns to Tyler’s hiking trails! Start your Friday off right with a brisk, one-hour hike through Tyler’s gardens and natural areas beyond the deer exclusion fence. This hike is intended as a moderate cardio workout, and we typically cover 2 1/2 to 3 miles in an hour. However, we reserve the right to pause and enjoy whatever surprises nature offers. Now running in its 39th year, this census will gather data on wintering birds all over Philadelphia. This is an all-day event that, for some teams, starts and ends with a search for owls. All ages and abilities encouraged.Nuno felting is the process of making a new textile by combining a loose weave fabric with a natural fiber such as farm sourced mohair from goats or merino wool from sheep.
