Get a taste of the night life at the Great Marsh. Insects such as moths and caddisflies wake up when the sun sets. And where there are insects, other critters like bats show up to eat them. We will lure nocturnal insects in to observe and document them while we also keep track of and learn about bats flying above us. Bring a flashlight. Volunteer with Haverford College Arboretum!Every other Tuesday during the active volunteer season (April - October) the Arboretum hosts volunteer workdays open to the community. Each session is led by a staff member and focuses on gardening in a different area of campus. Activities will vary each week and can include but are not limited to planting, weeding, mulching, clearing invasives, and watering.
