Our Young Coyote Tracks programs offer 5 -7 year olds the opportunity to engage with Nature Connection practices in fun and meaningful ways.Our Young Coyote Tracks programs are drop-off programs offered to children aged 5 - 7 years old. Participants are then guided into the Natural World in a safe and exciting ways. Through sensory awareness activities, natural movement challenges, and 'survival skill' introductions - particpants are made more aware of, and lead to feel at home with, the Earth and her many children - rocky, rooted, finned, feathered, and furred!
Observation of the natural world is the first step in creating a successful painting. Documenting objects and specimens in the field lets you gather ideas, gain inspiration, and discover how nature arranges its landscapes. This workshop brings you through Mt. Cuba’s grounds in search of habitats with fungi, foliage, and other materials to draw or paint in a sketchbook. Please bring your lunch. The Weekend Warm-up Hike returns to Tyler’s hiking trails! Start your Friday off right with a brisk, one-hour hike through Tyler’s gardens and natural areas beyond the deer exclusion fence. This hike is intended as a moderate cardio workout, and we typically cover 2 1/2 to 3 miles in an hour. However, we reserve the right to pause and enjoy whatever surprises nature offers.
