  • Girls’ High Library Fundraiser

    The Girls' High Library was once a vibrant hub of learning, creativity, and inspiration. However, it has been closed since 2013. Its research materials still include World Book Encyclopedias and a physical card catalog. There is no access to digital books, electronic research materials, periodicals, and other critical technological resources to ensure that our students can excel and compete academically. Despite our school’s successes and strengths, our students cannot effectively engage with their present education and prepare for life after graduation without a library and a technologically accessible resource center.     The critically acclaimed Drunk Black History show has finally made it to "the city of brotherly love"! Comedian Brandon Collins (New York Comedy Festival) hosts this event where you’ll hear from comedians, writers, and experts who are skunked out of their mind trying to recap the biography of a historical Black figure or event that hasn’t gotten the mainstream love they deserved.
