Mama Carla will share stories illuminating the history of jazz as well as our place in community with one another and with our natural environment. We’re teaming up with the City of Philadelphia, Office of Clean and Green, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Philadelphia Water Department, United by Blue, and multiple agencies, to remove illegally dumped tires and clear debris from Tacony Creek Park and the surrounding streets. This cleanup is a great way to make a real impact! Volunteers comfortable lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) are especially needed to help remove tires. Prefer lighter work?
