  • Native Seed Saving

FDR Park South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA, United States

Join naturalist Anisa George in gathering seeds from some of the many native plants that can be found in the South Philly Meadows at FDR Park. You can bring home seeds for your own pots and gardens or gather for LandHealth who will cultivate them at our native plant nursery for propagating throughout the city. We will walk a 2 mile loop. All ages are welcome. Please bring your own water bottle and dress for the weather and to protect yourself from poison ivy (also a native plant!) exposure. LOCATION FDR Park, Pickle Ball Courts, Delaware Expy, Philadelphia, PA, 19145
