    Glen Foerd mansion sits along the Delaware River in the northeastern-most corner of Philly and is one of the best places in the city to study gulls during the winter. While there is no guarantee, we are hoping to see a rare gull such as Iceland or Glaucous Gull. We will meet at Fitzwater Station (Fitz), which includes an outdoor restaurant /bar and Port Providence Canoe and Kayak Rentals at 10 AM. After everyone has their gear we will have a short safety talk and we will than paddle up the canal where you may see turtles catching the sun, local fishermen and other paddlers enjoying the day.
