    The Cancer Support Community is pleased toannounce Collage for Compassion, a fundraising benefit and exhibition in partnership with Philadelphia CollageWorks. This event is free and open to the public and will take place at the beautiful historic Ridgeland Mansion in West Fairmount Park on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Collage for Compassion will showcase a diverse and vibrant selection of original artwork by Philadelphia CollageWorks (PCW), a members' collective of collage artists. Highlights of the benefit exhibition will include traditional analog collages made from paper, fabric, and found materials, as well as photographic, digital, mixed-media, and

  • Tu B’Shevat Gathering and Arboretum Tour

    Join us for a short tour of Laurel Hill West’s wintry arboretum in celebration of Tu B’Shevat, the Jewish New Year for the Trees. As we examine barks, buds, and berries, we’ll learn about the historical, agricultural, and spiritual origins of Tu B’Shevat and how it is celebrated around the world today. Afterward, warm up indoors in our Conservatory while enjoying wine and fruits significant to the holiday and often consumed during Tu B’Shevat Seders. This event is presented in partnership with the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History. The tour portion of this event lasts approximately one hour
