    Join us for the first movie night of the summer! Bring your picnic blankets, bug spray, and snacks, and enjoy a free, family-friendly movie under the evening sky. No registration is necessary; free concessions while supplies last. We’ll be watching Wicked (2024), starting at 8:30pm. Arrive early at 7pm for nature-based pre-movie activities with The Pennsylvania Game Commission, along with information resources from enVision New Possibilities. Plus, don’t miss a free Herbal First Aid workshop with Folami Irvine. , with a focus on natural support for toothaches, muscle pain, and stress. Hands-on projects for this workshop include herbal oils for toothache, tension-relieving rice socks,

  • Independence Historical Trust Presents Movies on the Mall: Independence Day (1996)

    Join Independence Historical Trust and the Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation for “Movies on the Mall,” an outdoor movie series celebrating the themes and history of Independence National Historical Park. Before the movie begins, enjoy family-friendly activities like 18th-century games, arts and crafts, Park Ranger programs and more! Pre-show activities will begin at 5:30 pm. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks. Additional concessions are available at the nearby Liberty Garden. The event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is encouraged. Walk-ups are also welcome.

We’ll be watching Mufasa (2024), starting at 8:30pm. Come early at 7pm for information resources from enVision New Possibilities. plus a hands-on Heart, Womb & Brain Tea Blends workshop with Folami Irvine—make & take your own custom tea blends with herbs like hawthorn, red raspberry leaf, and gotu kola.

No registration is necessary. We’ll be watching A Minecraft Movie (2025), starting at 7:30pm. Arrive early for free activities for the whole family: 5-7pm: stilt walking program with Sistah Mafalda 6-7pm: Back-to-School Herbal Kit 6-7pm with Folami Irvine.  Create a home or student herbal kit for immunity, focus, and calm with blends for immunity, calmness spray, and mini kits to take with you. 6-7:30pm: community information resources from  The Pennsylvania

  • Free Movie on the River – “Hocus Pocus”

    Join Riverfront North Partnership and Glen Foerd for a fun, spooky, family-friendly evening along the river, watching the original Hocus Pocus. The movie will begin around 7pm. The fun begins at 5:30pm with free craft-making for the kids, thanks to our Lilly P.A.D.S. instructors. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. So bring a blanket or chairs, or maybe your favorite Halloween costume, and get ready for a spooky, fun evening! This event will take place on the waterfront lawn by the Main House.
