    In this activity, led by mixed media artist Kyra Pope, participants are invited to decorate the cover of their own handmade junk journal using a wide range of recycled and collage materials. These journals serve as a personal space to explore joy, identity, and self-expression! This activity celebrates Black creativity, hair empowerment, and affirmation, encouraging everyone to experiment with layering, color, words, and texture.The goal isn’t perfection—it’s expression.
