  • Wine, Cheese, and Trees

    Morris Arboretum & Gardens 100 E Northwestern Ave, Philadelphia, United States

    This after-hours wander into the treetops and through the garden has become a yearly favorite! Three sites will feature staff-favorite wines and cheese plates to enjoy as you wander and explore these remarkable locations. Staff horticulturists will be present to pour the wine and to answer any questions you might have about the gardens and their care. Sites will be open from 5:30 – 7:30 pm; guests can arrive when it is convenient for them. Last arrival should be no later than 6:30 pm to allow time to visit each site. Participants must be 21+.     Meet your local farmers and sample our autumn produce fresh off the vine! All produce is grown using regenerative agricultural methods and donated to hunger relief. Stay after the tour to see the farm in full fall splendor – and don’t miss the scarecrow scavenger hunt!

Meet Suzanne and Michael Luciano, Master Beekeepers and winners of this year’s Grange Fair! Come get a sneak peek into the complicated and amazing lives of honey bees! Come away with resource information on the challenges of beekeeping, the rewarding hobby of stewarding honey bees, and a plant list for pollinators! Beeswax, beekeeping tools, and Honey from the Farm will be on display, and hopefully an observation hive of live bees too!
