Learn how to identify common invasive weeds and how to distinguish them from similar-looking native species. See invasive-plant management techniques and restoration strategies in practice in Mt. Cuba’s natural lands. Outdoor learning may include walking over rolling terrain and mulched paths. These classes are rain or shine. This program takes place in person at Mt. Sankofa Community Farm

Due to inclement weather forecasts, this event has been rescheduled from its original date on 5/13. Time to get planting! Come on down to Sankofa Community Farm and learn the basics of planting your summer garden. We will also cover summertime maintenance, including best practices in natural agriculture and pest management. Led by the Sankofa Farm team (beginner-intermediate level workshop).
