Storytime + Design is a weekly creative experience diving into a book and fun design exercises to grow your creativity and design process. We welcome all ages and identities on the designer journey. Age range of books will vary, design exercises adaptable for all.

Cliveden offers free house tours every second Saturday of the month, May to October, as part of their Second Saturday programming. House tours are available 12pm to 4pm, beginning on the hour in the Cliveden Barn, located at 98 E. Cliveden Street, 19119. The last tour of the day is at 3pm. Each tour is a one-hour experience. Visitors will view our current exhibit, The Turmoil of Transition: The mid-nineteenth century at Cliveden: 'Enter Cliveden as it was in the mid-nineteenth century - a household in turmoil and mourning over the death of husband and father, Benjamin Chew, Jr. This
Join us for a Free Family Day at the American Swedish Historical Museum, all about Norway! In conjunction with our balcony exhibit, Across the Atlantic: Sloopers and the First Organized Emigration from Norway to America, families can learn about Norwegian culture with craft activities throughout the Museum galleries. Try out Norwegian folk art including rosemaling and different styles of paper crafting, and experience some early Scandinavian Viking life by making your own Viking shield and dressing up like a Viking! Walk-ins are welcome but help us plan with your RSVP.

JOIN US FOR OUR OPEN HOUSE! The Philadelphia String Project at Temple University (PSP) serves beginning young string (upper & lower) players (K-6th grade) from the Philadelphia area in this weekly 3-year program incorporating group lessons and string ensembles. Students are taught by a Master Teacher and supported by Temple University undergraduate music education and performance string interns. No audition or previous musical experience required.
