    Riverbend camps create an outdoor experience of fun & free play for campers of all ages! Hiking, stream-stomping and bug-catching are a few of the key ingredients that have made Riverbend's summer camp a sensation since 1982. Riverbend campers aren’t afraid to get a little dirty in our weekly program that runs from mid-June to Labor Day. Our qualified and enthusiastic educators (some who were campers themselves!) guide children in hands-on nature exploration and investigation, games, crafts, hikes and more.     Together with a favorite grown-up, Sprouts discover and explore the wonders of nature through sensory focused classes. This program for little ones 18 months to 3 years and features walks, art, music and stories as part of the hands-on, emergent learning approach beloved in our Nature Preschool. It is a great way for your child to grow their roots in nature-based learning. $20 for Schuylkill Center Members / $25  for non-members. Not a member yet?   • Day-Off Camp

    The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education 8480 Hagys Mill Rd, Philadelphia, PA, United States

    When schools are closed, we are open! Keep curious young minds and busy bodies active with the Schuylkill Center Day-Off Camp. Trained educators lead students grades K-6 on unique nature-themed explorations that take advantage of our science lab, Discovery Center, and 365 acres of beautiful wooded trails, streams, and ponds. Please bring a packed lunch, water bottle and an extra set of clothes. Wear weather-appropriate clothing that can get dirty. Space is limited to 30 campers. Sign up early to guarantee your spot.
