  • Slow Roll Memorial Bike Ride for Barbara

    Civic Center Blvd and Spruce St.

    The Bicycle Coalition and Families for Safe Streets will work in collaboration with Barbara's friends and family to host a silent, slow roll bike ride from Civic Center Blvd and Spruce St. to the site of Barbara Friedes crash, 18th and Spruce. We will place an Angel bike at the crash site and hold a memorial for her. Please join to honor Barbara's memory.

    Celebrate Easter like a Swede at the American Swedish Historical Museum’s Easter Family Day! Join us on Sunday, April 6th, from 2-4 pm to experience Swedish Easter traditions. In Sweden, Easter kicks off with a trick-or-treat-like candy hunt on Maundy Thursday. Children dress up as Easter witches with long skirts, headscarves, painted red cheeks, and freckles and go from house to house, wishing people Happy Easter. The conversation continues on July 15th at 6:00PM, as BCGP's Legislative Committee made up of Board, Staff, and community advocates will meet to further refine 2027 priorities and continue working through the Policy Social breakout session topics together.
