MLK Drive is a focus of this year's celebration. The City of Philadelphia closes MLK Drive to motor vehicle traffic between the Falls Bridge and Sweetbriar Drive on weekends, every year, to increase recreational access for the public. Closures

Deborah was an Art Demonstration Teacher and taught in the Philadelphia Public Schools for thirty-five years. She also worked as a Project Manager for the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program for several years. Zuchman paints en plein air and from her imagination.     Join FRIEDAcommunity for a celebration of creativity, connection and the unexpected joy that happens when people come together to make something beautiful. This large-scale collaborative installation is the surprise culmination of a 10-month long project of FRIEDAcommunity. Composed of hand-strung disposable cutlery by volunteers, who gathered weekly around our community table (and were unaware of the final form), and assembled by artist P.W. Prichett. THANK YOU to P.W.
