This six-part course will cover a holistic range of perspectives on our relationship with clothing. From studying the materiality and learning hands-on how to manipulate different materials and fabrics to reflecting on our ecological responsibility and learning actionable steps to become better shepherds of the planet to discussing basic concepts of holistic dress, this course challenges its students to cultivate a slow fashion mindset in a fast fashion world. Join the American Swedish Historical Museum (ASHM) for this fundraising dinner to celebrate our 2025 Outstanding Achievement Award Honoree, Swedish jazz musician Oskar Stenmark, plus—new for 2025—a live auction!
