Zine Workshop with the Philadelphia Mycology Club
Join the Philadelphia Mycology Club for a free mushroom-themed zine workshop.
Led by Pixel, our instructor, we’ll look at and talk about zines and books on mushrooms and related topics, do a movement activity to embody the lifecycle of a fungus and a meditation on fungi as a part of our lives, followed by a discussion to explore the things that come to mind (where do we see fungi in our cultures, how are they represented and how do they make us feel). We’ll then transition to a zine making session. Paper, tools, collage and drawing materials will be provided.
Space in this free workshop is limited; please arrive promptly to secure a seat. Wearing a mask is strongly preferred.
