Your piece of northwest Philly can be a nature preserve!

April 29 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Find out how to turn your corner of northwest Philly into a beautiful nature preserve from Steve Jones, a local ecological practitioner.

Homeowners and apartment dwellers can use their outdoor space, no matter how small, to support wildlife and human health. Learn how you can successfully introduce more native plants to your planters, gardens, and lawns.

Come home with a Pennsylvania native plant to get the ball rolling! Steve Jones is an environmental educator and ecological practitioner. He serves on the board of Wissahickon Restoration Volunteers, a community-based ecological restoration program. He also manages the native plant nursery for LandHealth Institute, a Philadelphia environmental non-profit. Steve is the President of the Philadelphia Botanical Club.

This in person workshop will be held at Weavers Way Outreach Office, located at 326b West Chelten Ave on April 29th at 6:30pm.
