Wrapping the World in Colors: Art Program with Craft

April 24 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Celebrate Earth Day by learning about environmental artists and making a craft!

Celebrate Earth Day by joining Narberth Community Library for a fun and creative event! In the “Wrapping the World in Colors Art Program with Craft”, children will learn about two environmental artists, Christo and Jeanne-Claude. Together, they transformed natural and urban landmarks by wrapping them in fabric, surrounding them with material, and even hanging cloth over them. One of their goals was to make people notice and appreciate the beauty of their everyday environment.

In the second part of the class, kids will create an art project inspired by the ideas of Christo and Jeanne-Claude.

For ages 4-8. Register at the library or call us at 610-664-2878.
