Witch Hazel Collection Tour

FOR ADULTS & TEENS AGES 15-17
Experience Tyler’s witch hazel collection at its peak. More than 100 witch hazels brighten the landscape in shades of gold, red, purple, yellow, and orange. Their fragrance drifts across the grounds, guiding you from one vibrant bloom to the next. Local expert Randy Kobetich leads you on a walk among these early bloomers, where you’ll discover what makes Tyler’s collection a standout of the season.
About your guide: Randy Kobetich is a local witch hazel collector, propagator, grower, and friend of Tyler.
What to expect:
· Check in at the Visitor Center and then meet your guide
· Expert guide with deep knowledge
· Approximately ½-mile walk on pavement, grass, and gravel
· Time to observe color, fragrance, and variety across the collection
· Cool temperatures and late-winter conditions
· Restrooms close to the tour route
What to Wear & Bring:
· Dress in layers suitable for the weather
· Waterproof footwear with good traction
· Phone camera or other camera to catch the blooms at their peak
Important notice about program date: Witch hazel bloom times vary from year to year. The tour date may shift depending on peak bloom. If rescheduling is necessary, you will be notified at least 24 hours in advance. If the bloom is delayed, the backup date is Saturday, February 28, from 1:30–3:00 pm.
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED.  All teens must be accompanied by an adult.
MEMBERS: FREE
NON-MEMBERS: Adults (18-64): $18 each; Seniors (65+): $15 each; Teens (15-17): $10 each. Admission is included in your fee, so feel free to stay for the day!
GUEST PASS HOLDERS (for non-members only): FREE. At check-in, please submit your guest passes to the Visitor Center Associate, or let them know that you are accompanying a participating Family or higher-level member.
