Join Brice Dorwart for an informational walk on campus. ISA CEUs are available for certified arborists!
Join Brice Dorwart and arborist professionals as they explore the winter landscape and learn how to identify deciduous tree species without their leaves. Brice is an ISA-certified, local teaching arborist. This walk will be attended by Arboretum members and Davey Resource Group employees who work with PECO’s vegetation management department. Wear good walking shoes and dress for the weather. If the weather is particularly bad the class will be rescheduled for Thursday, January 18th (same time). Participation in this class will count as 2 CEUs for ISA-certified arborists. There are a limited number of spots and registration is required.
This class is for members and Davey employees only. If you are not a member but would like to participate please join us at https://www.haverford.edu/arboretum/support/membership. Haverford College students, staff, and faculty may participate in the program without an active membership.
Parking for this event is in the visitor’s lot off of Wood’s Road and participants will meet outside of the Facilities Management Building.
