This is Part 3 of 3 in the series

Share your stories about “home,” change, neighborhoods, development, and housing in Germantown. Let’s keep the stories alive, and help inform solutions for the future of Germantown.

A facilitator will help bring out the stories of the group.

Sharing is optional. You can also just listen.

Light food and refreshments, childcare available (please register).

stories about returning to the neighborhood, leaving it, or staying, and exploring the emotions and experiences of those moments.

Saturday, February 24th 1:00 – 3:00pm

Transformation of spaces / evolving neighborhood identity

stories about how homes and neighborhoods have changed over the years, whether through renovations, gentrification, or community-driven initiatives. changing neighborhood names.

Thursday, March 7th 5:30 – 7:30pm

Affordable housing and keeping it

stories highlighting history with boarding/rooming homes, public housing, intergenerational living, co-housing, tiny homes, or other affordable access to property. experiences or resources that helped save or preserve one’s home.
