Workshop Description
Join herbalist Sarah Gerhardt for a 3-hour hands-on workshop making fire cider and learning about herbs to support your health and well-being during the winter months!

Learn about a handful of winter wellness-supporting herbs and how to use and prepare them at home. We’ll learn about the history and benefits of fire cider, a traditional immune tonic made with easily accessible herbs, and create a batch together. Each participant will leave with their own jar of fire cider and winter wellness recipes. Leave feeling empowered with natural herbs to support your well-being throughout the year!

Receive Hands-on Experience with:
Utilizing herbs throughout the winter season
Making fire cider
tasting different herbal teas

What you’ll go home with:
A jar of fire cider (made in the workshop)

Workshop Schedule
The workshop runs from 12 pm to 3 pm. Participants will be emailed a more detailed schedule breakdown as it gets closer to the day of the workshop.

Meet Sarah
Sarah Gerhardt, of Earth Tender Botanicals, has been working with plant medicine since she was a child and actively studying Western herbal medicine for the past ten years. She loves working with plants from seed to flower to medicine and is currently a farmer with a passion for tending perennial garden spaces. It’s through this process she’s able to connect deeply with the land and in turn her own health and well-being. She loves sharing this skill and passion with others.

Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for anyone interested in using herbs to support their well-being and creating herbal products. This workshop is geared towards adults who are newer to herbal medicine or have some knowledge of the subject. Tweens and teenagers are welcome.

Workshop Cost
The cost of the workshop is $75/person. This includes a take-home of fire cider.

Refund policy: If you cancel your registration at least one week in advance, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations less than a week before the workshop or no-shows are non-refundable. If we cancel the workshop on our end, we will refund all registrations 100%.

Workshop Location
The workshop will take place indoors (or inside our high tunnel if weather permits) at Hundred Fruit Farm, a 10-acre permaculture farm in Buckingham, PA.
