Join the City of Lancaster and Lancaster Conservancy as we explore this urban gem! As we hike around the peninsula, we’ll explore plants, trees, and wildlife, discuss the historical uses of the area as well as future plans to protect and enhance the site. Bring a water bottle and hiking shoes and get ready to explore the largest natural area in the city that you’ve never seen!
Note: These trails are not open to the public.
What to Expect: This hike will be approximately 2 miles on uneven terrain. This event is recommended for ages 10 and up (participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). There is no restroom available on site.

What to Bring: Wear comfortable closed toe shoes or boots for hiking.
Refund Policy: If you are unable to attend this event after purchasing a ticket, refund requests must be made at least 48 hours before the event.
Animal Policy: Service animals active or in training are welcome. Please leave all pets at home.
Cancellation Policy: This event will be held rain or shine, with cancellation for severe weather made at the time of the event. If the Conservancy reschedules the event, attendees will be emailed and tickets will be automatically moved to the new date. If the Conservancy cancels the event, attendees will be notified via email when possible and refunded.
