WARP Open Studio Day with the Museum for Art in Wood

Get an Exclusive Look at the WARP Residency!

Join us at NextFab on Saturday, July 12, from 10 AM to 1 PM for a unique opportunity to dive into the 2025 Windgate Arts Residency Program (WARP)! The public is invited into our Windgate Fellows shop to meet the talented resident fellows and get a firsthand look at their incredible concepts and works in progress. Whether it’s woodworking, film, writing, or other amazing documentation, you’ll hear all about what they’ve been creating.

The Museum for Art in Wood’s international residency program is celebrating its 28th year, fostering intensive research, discussions, studio work, and collaborations. After the fellows share their insights, you’ll have the chance to watch demos, explore our shop, chat more with the artists, and even take a tour of NextFab!

Here’s what to expect:

• 10:00 AM: Arrive and grab some coffee and bagels.
• 10:15 AM: Welcome remarks and artist presentations kick off.
• 11:45 AM: Demos, shop exploration, Q&A with fellows, and NextFab tours begin!
• 1:00 PM: Event concludes.

Note: Attendees must wear closed-toe shoes. No one will be permitted in the woodshop with open-toe shoes (including flip-flops and sandals).
