VU PHL and Klean Kensington X Walls for Justice
Klean Kensington‘s mission is to empower teens through beautifying their blighted surroundings and engaging them with neighborhood-uplifting work. Klean Kensington focuses on the areas of financials, career, civic, social-emotional and spiritual.
What we will be doing:
In partnership with Klean Kensington and Walls for Justice, up to 20 VU volunteers will clean streets/alleyways, weeding gardens, potentially painting fences . Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in.

VU will email a waiver for you to sign once that has been finalized. Please be sure to sign the waiver prior to the event!
Parking & Transportation
- Parking: Esperanza Health Center’s Parking Garage – we highly suggest carpooling!
- Nearby bus routes: We recommend using the trip planner to make it easier to find frequent options
