Volunteer – Creek Care in Philadelphia

August 13 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Natural Lands and Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership are teaming up to protect clean water and care for nature at one of our favorite community green spaces in northeast Philadelphia. Join neighbors and fellow volunteers in removing invasive plants, stewarding natural habitat, and cleaning up debris. Good fun (and mud) is guaranteed!
Volunteering is a great way to learn more about the natural world, give your time to a great cause, and connect with community. Thank you for giving back!
No experience necessary. Instructions, tools, and supplies will be provided, including gloves, snacks, and water. You are welcome to bring long-handled loppers if you have them. Sturdy, waterproof boots are recommended. Please bring a refillable water bottle with you.
The health and safety of staff and volunteers is our highest priority during this volunteer event. Please review “before you go” details.
