Tree Tour: Identification Basics at Glen Foerd

Join Colleen, our Environmental Program Coordinator, on a walk around the grounds of Glen Foerd to take a closer look at the magnificent trees! The tour will focus on observation and basic identification skills. We will discuss conifers vs. deciduous trees (and some that are both), leaf shape, leaf arrangement, and other characteristics that will help you recognize trees in our area. Guests are welcome to bring a journal.
*We will meet by the public parking lot. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water, and wear a hat/sunscreen as needed.
