Learn about famous artists from the 18th and 19th centuries including John Smibert, John Wollaston and Germantown locals James Reid and George Cochran Lambdin while exploring the portraits at Cliveden. Participants will learn about the artists, period painting styles and the people in the portraits and then have an opportunity to look at many of the paintings up close. The class fee is $25. This class will be held in the Cliveden Barn, located at 98 E. Cliveden Street, 19119. The Carriage House is best reached from Cliveden St., which is between Upsal and Johnson Streets. The Carriage House entrance is at the Morton St. end of Cliveden St., on the right side, through a gate, onto the grounds of Cliveden House.
