The Nature of Glen Foerd: A Guided Walk

Glen Foerd is so much more than its magnificent buildings: there is abundant nature here too, as many different plants and animals live here on the river’s edge. On a lively nature walk, naturalist Mike Weilbacher introduces you to massive oaks and magnolias, trees that are living fossils, and fall-blooming wildflowers important for migrating birds. We’ll also search the river for geese, diving ducks, ospreys, bald eagles, and maybe even muskrats and beavers. Come meet the many natural neighbors that inhabit Glen Foerd!
