The Bird Ethic – Opening Celebration

Artist-in-residence Susan Hagen’s solo exhibition, The Bird Ethic, is opening in our gallery and on our trails October 7th.
Hagen’s diorama-inspired outdoor sculptures capture historical moments in bird conservation, bird science, and humankind’s impact on bird populations, guiding guests to take action to repair our interconnected world.
At the opening, Hagen will lead a walk and talk about the outdoor exhibits. We will also have a hands-on art activity.
The walk is wheelchair-accessible along our Widener Trail.
Food and drinks will be provided.
