Tacony LAB Craft Supply Giveaway First Friday!

For our August First Friday, we will be having a craft supply giveaway. We have received many generous donations of supplies, and we want to share some of our excess with the community. We will also have light refreshments, and a couple of art activities.

Please come between 6 and 9pm to find some new treasures. We are limiting households to 1 grocery sized bags until 8pm to make it fair for everyone. We will be providing bags.If you have donations to bring to the Tacony LAB, we will also be accepting donations until 8pm.

What is the Tacony LAB Community Arts Center? We are a community art center funded by the City of Philadelphia located in the Northeast section of Philadelphia. We are a program of Mural Arts Philadelphia.

At the Tacony LAB, providing accessible and free art is a priority. We offer free classes for adults and children. Our classes range from fiber arts, drawing and painting, to crafting and more. We provide a safe and inclusive space to work on your projects while receiving support from our attending artists and staff. We encourage you to visit during our open studio hours for a tour of all that our incredible art center packs in. We are excited to invite you to be a part of the developing artist community that we have here!
