Join us on Friday, February 2nd from 6pm to 9 pm at the Tacony LAB Community Arts Center for our Community Appreciation First Friday
This is an event to invite the community to meet the agencies and people who support positive change and community growth in Tacony. We will share resources and some information on what’s to come in the year 2024 for Tacony. List of Participating Organizations to come.
We will have make-and-take activities and light refreshments.
Registration is not required, but is encouraged to help us plan.
What is the Tacony LAB Community Arts Center? We are a community art center funded by the City of Philadelphia located in the Northeast section of Philadelphia. We are a program of Mural Arts Philadelphia.
At the Tacony LAB, providing accessible and free art is a priority. We offer free classes for adults and children. Our classes range from fiber arts, drawing and painting, to crafting and more. We provide a safe and inclusive space to work on your projects while receiving support from our attending artists and staff. We encourage you to visit during our open studio hours for a tour of all that our incredible art center packs in. We are excited to invite you to be a part of the developing artist community that we have here!
