Swarm Season Is Here: What That Cloud of Bees Really Means!

April 29 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Get the buzz on why bees swarm and what that crazy cloud really means for your backyard hive!

Follow the Buzz – Where Honeybees Go and Why It Matters? Join Sarah Humes, owner of a local bee keeping company, to learn more about honey bees and their colonies. Swarms are colonies of bees looking for a new home. Without a beekeeper, fewer than 1 in 4 bee colonies survive. She will talk about honeybee swarming and what does that mean? What if honeybees get into your home? What you can do for the bees in your yard? She will also have a Q & A at the end of her presentation to anwer your questions.

This is a virtual offering that will be hosted on Zoom on Wednesday April 29th at 6:30pm. You will receive a zoom link to attend the session after you register to attend the event.
