Come one, come all to our second Super Mega Volunteer Service Day! Even though every day is Earth Day for us as FOW, we decided to go big this year in celebration of FOW’s 100th anniversary. We’ll be spread out throughout the park on this Saturday with 5 different locations to choose from. We’ve got litter to remove, invasive plants to cut, storm-water infrastructure to clean out, leaves & mud to scrape, trails to tend to, and so much more! Consider this your formal invitation to be part of this generation of stewards, who help us make our little corner of the world cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful.
No experience is needed. We provide gloves, tools and instruction – you just need to show up! Volunteer service Days are excellent, easy ways to help us take care of Wissahickon Valley Park. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and long pants, and bring a water bottle with you.
