Join Brice Dorwart for an informational walk on campus. ISA CEUs are available for certified arborists!
Join Brice Dorwart and arborist professionals as they explore Haverford’s summer landscape and learn how to identify deciduous tree species commonly found in the Philadelphia area. Brice is an ISA-certified, local teaching arborist. This walk will be attended by Arboretum members and Davey Resource Group employees who work with PECO’s vegetation management department. Wear good walking shoes and dress for the weather. If the weather is particularly bad the class will be rescheduled for the following Thursday, July 20th (same times). Participation in this class will count as 2 CEUs for ISA-certified arborists.
This class is for members only. If you are not a member but would like to participate please join us at https://www.haverford.edu/arboretum/support/membership. Haverford College students, staff, and faculty may participate in the program without an active membership.
Parking for this event is in the visitor’s lot off of Wood’s Road and participants will meet outside of the Facilities Management Building.
