Spring Plant Sale

Registration is not required for this event, but we wanted to share the following details with everyone! If you would like to register to receive festival updates you are more than welcome to do so. Please feel free to arrive anytime between the 3:00 – 6:00 window even though tickets have timeslots.
Enjoy the great outdoors and celebrate the season by attending Haverford College Arboretum’s spring plant sale. We will have a variety of sun and shade pollinator perennials available. Below are some of the plants we plan on having available:
- Adiantum pedatum (northern maidenhair fern)
- Andropogon virginicus (broomsedge)
- Asclepias tuberosa (butterfly milkweed)
- Echinacea purpurea ‘PowWow® Wild Berry’ (coneflower)
- Helleborus Brandywine™ (Lenten rose)
- Heuchera ‘Frosted Violet’ (alumroot, coral bells)
- Iris cristata ‘Powder Blue Giant’ (dwarf crested iris)
- Salvia nemorosa ‘Rose Marvel’ (garden sage)
- Scabiosa ‘Pink Mist’ (pincushion flower)
- Schizachyrium scoparium ‘Standing Ovation’ (little bluestem)
- Solidago rugosa ‘Fireworks’ (goldenrod)
- Baptisia alba var. Macrophylla (white false indigo)
Plants will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Cash, check, Apple Pay, and Google Pay will be accepted at the event. This event is intended to be outside and will be canceled if extreme inclement weather is predicted. Parking can be found in the South Lot and Facilities Lot and the plant sale will take place in the nursery area adjacent to the greenhouse complex.
