Sip & Seed: Seed for Service on MLK Day

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, help Trellis for Tomorrow serve our community by seeding trays of future vegetables that will go out to our network of partner gardens in the spring. We’ll also work together to complete minor greenhouse improvement projects to start the season strong.
Volunteering with Trellis has a direct impact on food security. All gardens within the Trellis for Tomorrow network donate at least half of what they grow to food banks and pantries, providing nutritious produce to those who need it most.
If you love getting outside, gardening, meeting new people, or would like to give back to a great cause, this event is for you. No experience necessary.
Trellis will provide all materials, light snacks, and drinks—just show up in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and we’ll take care of the rest! Visit the “What to Expect” page on our website to learn more.
This event is free for all. A donation of any size helps empower individuals and communities to gain life skills that promote food security and sustainability, creating a stronger healthier future for all.
