SHARP Dance Company 20th Anniversary Performance- “FAMILY”

SHARP’s Fall Season promises a dynamic and emotionally rich lineup, featuring a powerful mix of fan favorites from the past 20 years alongside exciting new works. The program will include “669,” a moving tribute inspired by Sir Nicholas Winton and the 669 children he rescued from the Holocaust, as well as excerpts from “Aquarian Exposition,” which celebrates the spirit of the iconic hippie era. Audiences will also experience the world premiere of “DNA – Part 1: Ireland,” marking an exciting new direction for SHARP’s repertoire and the beginning of a six-year creative journey by Artistic Director Diane Sharp-Nachsin as she explores her heritage through the lens of her own DNA.
Adding to the excitement, SHARP Alumni Dancers will return to the stage to perform a brand-new piece and SHARP will be celebrating our dancer Miguel Quiñones who is retiring after 12 years with the company. The performance will open with several standout works, including “Blind Faith – Part 3,” a signature piece that encapsulates SHARP’s powerful style, the playful and witty “Roller Coaster Rules.”
