Saturday Volunteer Service Day

Meeting at Bell’s Mill and Forbidden Drive
This location will not require hiking to access from the available parking areas.
Please note that there will be porta potty access during the service day.
Would you like to be part of keeping Wissahickon Valley Park beautiful and sustainable? Then join us as we clear out drains currently being clogged by dirt and debris!
All are welcome to attend, and no experience is needed. We encourage attendees to work within their own comfort level, and we always strive to accommodate needs on an individual basis. With that being said, this service day may include the following activities:
• Drain-clearing: carrying and using long handled tools and transporting leaf material on tarps
• Repetitive motions
We provide gloves, tools, and instruction–you just need to show up! Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and long pants, and remember to bring water with you.
