Join local geology expert, Hallam Harper, and WEC staff as we learn about the incredible geology of the Wissahickon Valley. Walk to spots to see twisted rock formations and look for minerals that form these metamorphic rocks. Learn about how and when the Wissahickon Formation originated. Hallam will bring some of her personal rock collection for you to view.
Meet outside of the Valley Green Inn. Wear good walking shoes and bring water. Free!
