Public Projects Meeting

Join Friends of the Wissahickon in person or online on Wednesday, January 28, for its Annual Public Projects Meeting to learn more about the organization’s upcoming plans and projects to conserve our community’s treasured Wissahickon Valley Park.
We’ll review last year’s improvements and the status of current and planned projects. Director of Field Stewardship Shawn Green will share plans to expand the Zone Stewards program, FOW’s volunteer achievements in 2025, and how to get involved in 2026. Director of Capital Projects Pauline Berkowitz will discuss the ongoing Germantown Neighborhood Connection, also known as the Harvey Street Project, and the upcoming Pachella Gully Restoration and Sedimentation Reduction Project, and the Wissahickon Valley Park Resiliency and Flood Study.
