Public Meeting: All Person Trail Community Open House

Germantown Neighborhood Connection Project – All Persons Trail – Community Open House
Meeting at Weavers Way Germantown Outreach Office (326 W Chelten Ave # B, Philadelphia)
Join us in shaping the future of access to nature and outdoor play in the Wissahickon! Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) invites you and your family to our first-ever Trail Planning Open House. Drop in any time between 4:30 and 7:30 to share your ideas, feedback, and hopes for the future of this project. The event features the Appalachian Mountain Club, Future Together, Playful Learning Landscapes, and Germantown United CDC.
As part of Phase II of the Germantown Neighborhood Connection Project, FOW is constructing a new “All Persons Trail” in Wissahickon Valley Park, located in Germantown off Walnut Lane and Morris Street. Our goal is to create a space for people of varying abilities to connect with nature by offering an accessible alternative to the park’s existing natural surface trails.
Help us shape park space that welcomes everyone by providing your input on the trail’s amenities, including but not limited to seating, signage, and playful learning installations.
We hope to see you there!
