Join Horticulturist Charles Bone for a tour of the Pinetum!
Haverford College Arboretum is home to an 18-acre collection of conifers dating back to 1928 known as The Ryan Pinetum. This collection contains more than 300 labeled trees, representing five of the seven families of conifers. Join us to learn all about the Pinetum including the history, recent modifications, and our collection highlights with horticulturist Charles Bone.
Wear good walking shoes and dress for the weather. In the case of inclement weather we will attempt to reschedule this walk among the participants. Parking can be found in our visitor parking lot and participants will meet for the tour at the Facilities Management Building.
