Alex Posmontier is a Philadelphia area-based pianist with international performance experience and a growing list of studio credits as a session player, arranger, producer, and teacher.
Alex’s strong background in classical and jazz has provided him with opportunities such as performing at the Montreux and Istanbul Jazz Festivals, as well as playing alongside notable musicians like Duane Eubanks and Chris Brubeck, among many other Philadelphia greats.
He will be joined by Chelsea Reed of Fair Weather Five: Chelsea Reed is a renowned Philadelphia vocalist who has sold out venues such as the Kimmel Center and World Cafe Live. Drawing upon the influence of artists such as Bessie Smith, Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, and Billie Holiday, Chelsea Reed brings the intensity and passion of early jazz to every stage.
This is going to be a night to remember.
This all takes place in a very special and intimate venue. The Perch, Music and Arts Workshop is located at 2321 Emerald St, Philadelphia, PA 19125 on Friday, August 25th from 6:30-9:00 pm.
