Philadelphia’s Black Development Community Goes Green

April 26, 2024 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am

Join us as we convene BIPOC developers with building designers and contractors to discuss energy efficiency and sustainability in projects.

Philadelphia’s Black Development Community Goes Green

The purpose of this event is twofold: firstly, to raise awareness within the energy efficiency and renewable energy industries, including architects, designers, engineers, financiers, brokers, and contractors, about the crucial support needed for BIPOC developers and other commercial real estate professionals in Philadelphia. By highlighting ongoing initiatives and the obstacles to overcome, our aim is to inspire action and foster new relationships between the groups. Secondly, we seek to educate BIPOC developers about energy efficiency and renewable energy resources, facilitating connections with professionals in these fields to ensure the integration of sustainable features into their projects. Through these efforts, we aim to promote collaboration and sustainable practices in the real estate development industry.
