Paper Making workshop – Imbedding

Spring Paper Making Series
In this two-hour workshop participants will be introduced to the basics of Western papermaking and will experiment with embedding different flat objects and materials in handmade paper. Working with organic matter from the grounds of Historic Rittenhouse Town, thread, cut paper (etc.) students will learn to create unique pieces of handmade paper by encapsulating the materials of their choice within it. All levels of experience are welcome, no prior experience needed.Water resistant footwear encouraged.
