Now + Then Marketplace Make Love Market

Now + Then is a curated market that happens ‘now and then’ featuring local artists, artisans, makers, and resellers in Philly. The markets are always free to the public, dog, and kid friendly. Local event producer, Steph Irwin, started N+T Marketplace in 2021 after her time helping start Philly vintage institution Thunderbird Salvage.

The community of vendors & shoppers has grown exponentially in the last 5 years, with monthly markets popping up everywhere from Fishtown to Love Park to Eakins Oval. Irwin sees the market as a way to stimulate local economy while informing the public about ecological impact of shopping within your community.

Last year’s Make Love Market brought over 700 people out to the old Visitor Center at Love Park, soon projected to be a restaurant, but now home to Irwin’s light install. This is the third Make Love Market along with weddings on Valentine’s Day at Love Park. Vendors include a local caricature artist who will be onsite to paint couples, sweet treats from NiniBsweets, self-love gifts from Not a Bad Life and Tinder profile reviews from Free Dating Advice Philly.
