What would make your neighborhood “green”?
The Academy of Natural Sciences ranks Tioga and Glenwood amongst Philadelphia’s eight most neglected and underserved neighborhoods. We need your help to discuss these questions: What would you do to make your neighborhood green? Plant trees and gardens? Reduce violence by building community spaces in vacant lots? Pressure the City to end open dumping? Create shade and relief from the oppressive heat? As a member of the community, what would you want to see happen?
Our goal is to learn what the community wants. We are looking for people that are active and working to improve their neighborhoods. Is that you? Help us find out. Register NOW to attend the North Philly Neighborhood Greening Roundtable.
The Philly Neighborhood Greening Roundtables are sponsored by Clean Water Action and Hinge Collective, team members of the Resilient Community Stormwater Initiative (RCSI). This project is funded by the William Penn Foundation.
